Case Study - Greencore Prepared Meals

Greencore Kiveton are a major UK supplier of prepared meals, spreads and quiches. Trade effluent flows into an effluent plant where solids settlement and pH correction occurs.

To improve the efficiency of the system, IES were commissioned to install a pH correction system with auto clean pH from ATI and Grundfos dosing pumps. The system alarms using text message should it go out of consent, and a visual alarm on the unit housing.

The solids were tankered off site daily, so IES installed a rundown screen so the solids are dewatered on site, saving the cost of tankering.
