  • IES sponsor an Industrial pHD studentship at Northumbria University. The pHD is entering its second year with some promising results furthering our knowledge on the Sulphate Treatment, and now looking at filter cake reuse and recyling, and degradation of organic compounds.
  • IES have appointed Crown Management Systems to write and implement the systems prior to their application for both ISO 9001 & 140001.
  • The new effluent plant has been installed and commissioned at the Royal Mint and waste streams are currently being transferred from the old effluent plant. The old effluent plant is due to be decommisioned in April 2012.
